ThirdLove Bra -- A Review, and Save $15. And Victoria Secret Promo Codes!

Saturday, February 4, 2017

Real talk here.  I can't find a bra that fits.  I'm in the tiny chest camp over here, and the struggle is real.  I saw Maskcara mention the ThirdLove t-shirt bra on a Friday Favorites post, and it percolated in the back of my mind for probably 5 months before I pulled the trigger on it.  What stuck out to me was their claim to have a fit for small chested women.  But it's like $70.  If they didn't have this try before you buy program, I don't think I would've done it.  Basically you pay $3 and they ship you the bra of your choice.  If you're not sure which one to get, they have a handy fit finder (NSFW, do this at home).

I ordered the 24/7 t-shirt bra, it was a size 34 A 1/2.  That's right.  A AND 1/2.  Shipping was fast and it came in a pretty box, which is always a win in my book.

The good:
They have half cup sizes.
They have these pleated bra straps to create friction between it and your shirt to help keep it from falling down.  You can see it in the picture at the top of the post.
It actually fit really well, and it looked nice under a t-shirt.
Their returns and customer service is top notch.

The bad:
It was $68.  For ONE bra.
It didn't seem particularly super well made...not that it was poorly made...but for the price I maybe would've expected a little more.  Like maybe be made of gold or something.

The ugly:
The underwire.  Holy cats, it was hurt.  It dug into my sternum and I couldn't forget I was wearing it, no matter how hard I tried.  For $20, I maybe would've overlooked it.  For $68, it had to go back.

When I returned to their website to look for return instructions, I noticed they had a wireless option..! -- but for the price tag, I wasn't willing to try it.  I just needed my order number and after filling out a form, a return label was emailed to my inbox.  I dropped it off at USPS the next day, and never got charged the $68 for the bra.

So here's the deal.  You can use this link to save $15 on a bra from ThirdLove.  I think I get $15 towards a bra too when you buy from this link? I'm not entirely sure.  $53 is still pretty steep for me, but maybe it can help you out if you want to give them a try.

I did however order $300 worth of bras from Victoria Secret...I can never find what I think I'm looking for in the store! So I decided to just order a crapload of stuff to try on at home, keep the winners and return the other $250 worth of merch to the store.  I'm a returning fiend -- I have no qualms about returning something (new with tags!) that I changed my mind on after buying.  Just ask my sister.

It's been so long since I've been bra shopping...I didn't realize PINK had AA sizes...so I ordered a few of those, and just some regular A sizes.  And some bralettes, because if I have tiny boobs, I may as well take advantage of it, am I right?

Anyway.  I'll let you know how my VS haul turns out.  They currently have some good promos going on if you're buying stuff from them anyway.  You can check out the link here, or use:

SHIP2DAY for free shippping on $100, and free 2-day shipping on $125.
REWARD15 for $15 off of a $75 purchase
REWARD35 for $35 off a $150 purchase
SWEETHEART for a free sweetheart kimono when you buy 2 bras (THEY DIDN'T HAVE THIS WHEN I ORDERED...!!! Grrrr).

You can still get stuff in times for Valentines if you jump on it ASAP!  They have a bunch of undies for 5/$27.50.... So.  Get on it.
